MOZBOOTH at Mozilla Club Bies

Hello Mozillians ,Today I am very much happy to introduce myself(Sandeep) as a Mozillian in my college and organized MozBooth  with my team .(Balasubramaniyan,Vijay and Venkat)

Today i want to share my splendid experience on establishing"Mozbooth" on my college fest"SAMEEKSHA"-5th National Level Technical Fest.

Lets come to the matter....
     

         Myself (Sandeep)being FSA from Warangal studying in Balaji Institute of Engineering and Sciences,Warangal.On 4th March,2014 we inaugurated Firefox Club in our college(Mozilla Club BIES)

As a part FSA Activities we planned  to Introduce "Mozbooth". Me with my team approached organizer for this "SAMEEKSHA".We just gave brief noteon "Mozbooth".He appreciated us for doing such a good work and granted us .

Overview

On Mar,15th -"SAMEEKSHA" is Hosted.Its was organized by Department of ELECTRICAL &Engineering.Nearly 500+ participants had attended.Its Overwhelming Response from all participants. We really shocked on seeing such a huge bunch of crowd.

               My self and My team started Decorating Mozbooth from 10 A.m.At 11 A.m we are ready and college was busy with all the events .After the inauguration of our club we got many requests from the students that they are willing to join in club.So,we decided to took club remember registrations.We introduced both offline and online club registrations.It was a great response from them.

We took Registration's  for 45 min.Later we started Mozbooth Compaign .We decided a proper Agenda and we divided among ourselves into 4.We prepared with the slides .and now are totally ready with our laps and swags etc.

Our motto is to do something different - we followed the same on inaugurating club there we implemented Logo launch which became a special aspect on that day.Now, for this MozBooth we implemented a new way that's called" signboard collection" in which there is special board where we took our best compliments .Also we implemented attendee's sign collection.Later on our faculty and principal of my college wrote best wishes on sign board .They appreciated us for doing such a good task..

Later on ,we sawn that group of people on seeing Mozbooth they are excited and approaching towards us.Now we are to discuss.

 Introduction of Webmaker Hands on session with Webmaker Tools
 Localization Contributing to Mozilla SUMO And 
 partly we discussed about WOMOZ project.

MySelf (Sandeep ) gave  Introduction to Open Source,Mozilla & Mozilla's Project and my team balasubramaniyan;discussed about L10N ,Vijay Kumar discussed about Webmaker and finally venkat discussed about webmaker tools .Its was great session to us.

I also explained about FSA Activites and its levels and some them girls interested to be involved in WOMOZ project .so, just gave a introduction about that.Finally we collected the signatures from them.

Its totally awesome day for me and i am also very much happy on receiving my "OPEN BADGE FROM MOZILLA"

on the same day that makes more happy.

Finally i would like to thank my team and my college management for being supporting us.

Mozilla Club BIES Grand Inauguration

Hi Mozillians Today i want to share my playfulness for my Mozilla club BIES Inauguration Program.  It's my happiest moment in my life.After Applying FSA I Started club in my college .Firstly me with my team Contacted Mozilla Club Warangal(MCW).They are always happy to help and supportive to us.We invited to Team MCW to inaugurate Mozilla Club BIES on March,04th. 

Event Started around 11AM we invited all the dignitaries of our college .Event Started with Lightening of lamp(Jyothi Prajwlana).Later Dr.Rajendra Prasad garu (Chairmen -BALAJI GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS)gave a keynote on Mozilla Club  BIES ,he expressed his views on this technology and how to lead .

After his speech the staff coordinators for Mozilla Club BIES spoke about club its advantages what are the activities have to do by club members how to enroll yourself as a FSA.

After that we had logo launch session for Mozilla Club Bies .

Now the actual session has been started .First the session Started  by Hema Bhanu(REP).Its overwhelming response from the Club members they are very enthusiastic .Hema Bhanu explained about WOMOZ project how to do and how to contribute being FSA and its projects. Hema is very enthusiastic ,She also shared about her experiences like attending Mozilla Summit @ Santa Clara. In all it was a great session. all of them had enjoyed Hema's session.

After Hema session Ajay Kumar -Developer Fire Fox OS Handled the session .He explained about what FSA programme and how to register for that and advantages which we get from and also introduced Fire fox Os .It was really a fantastic speech he rocked the floor.he got great response from the club members

  

after that Ajay told over duties that being club lead can do ,How to Build Fire Fox app and how to submit in FireFox Market Place.All of them are eager to learn .It was fantastic day in my life.All of them enjoyed the sessions covered by hema and ajay.
