MOZMAKERS -2

Hello Mozillians,

Am back with with my makerparty as this is my 2nd makerparty which i hosted in my college on.(25thjuly,2014),its MozMakers 2.This makerparty is conducted for 2nd and 3 rd year students.Event started at 3:00pm .Around 35 members had Attended this session.

Event started with my intro on web maker and Why we celebrate Makerpartys every year. students are very excited to know about Makerparty.

Later on i had hands on session on Thimble appmaker and popcorn maker .,they delighted after my session wondered that i have created  them, with in a short time. firstofall i gave a session on Thimble .How to  use it and how to make a greeting card easily by using Thimble.

Later on i demonstrated  a popcorn make which i made earlier on "how i love being an FSA"

Hello Folks,

Today am going to  share about MOZWARE Meetup which was hosted in my college on 19th july.Actually this Meetup is being intended for bringing  awareness among students regarding Mozilla's Mission and its projects.

            Actually my club (MOZILLACLUBBIES) formed with final year students and my junior's showed interest in this club and they are willing to join us.So, my self and my friends(Balasubramaniyan and Vijaykumar) decided for meetup on MOZAWARE. We just decided 2 days ago and prepared a agenda for the meet.

Event started around 3:00pm. we are ready with our agenda. we are surprised to see that we got huge response to our club nearly 40 members had took part in this event.

MOZAWARE

Many of us asks about projects in Mozilla and how to register for FSA program and how to contribute,by taking this points into consideration we 3 prepared a proper agenda to cop up them .

Here is the agenda for Mozaware:

1. Introduction to Mozilla(Vijay Kumar)
2.  Over view of Mozilla products and projects ,FSA Activites by me(Sandeep)
3. Club Activities and benefits by (Balasubramaniyan)

First the meet up is initiated by vijay kumar on Intro of Mozilla- He gave brief overview on Mozilla's open source techy. Later the session continued by me, first i intiated with mozilla products and explained about Marketplace,Thunderbird,FFOS Later on i gave brief intro about projects and areas to contribute.

Now its time to start for FSA .I gave a brief introduction about FSA.

Later on discussed about the activities and being FSA how to contribute and how to rewarded. and lastly i  gave basic overlook on REPS program.

Lastly my friend Balasubramaniyan gave overview on club activities and how to do mailing list and how to write a blog and how to publish.

Hello Mozillains,


 I am so happy as Webmaker time has started where I teach and learn many things. As this is a Makerparty session which is going to held from july 15th to September 15th  i came up with many Makerparty's events this year. I planned to do 30+ events this year.


            so this is my first maker party which i have hosted in my college today itself. as this is initial Makerparty ,i just planned a small event which i hosted in my class room for my friends.

I invited my friends as this is a small event i decided to do in simple manner .it was around 12.00pm which i was ready with my lappy waiting for my friends to gather . At last we gathered by 12.15 pm . my 3 friends had attended this party.

my friend praneeth is enthusiatic  to learn about APPMAKER . I demonstrated him and he created a mini app which shows a basic chat room view am very delighted with this.

MOZILLA COMMUNITY WARANGAL HALF YEARLY MEETUP

Hello Mozillians,

I am happy to share my cherishing moments  of Mozilla Club Warangal Meet up which was very successfully conducted on July 6^th, 2014. The meeting was Headed by Sai Kiran around 15 people have attended the meet up people from Jits and Bies club have attended this meet up, it was around 4 pm in the evening since we have meet.

Meetup has started with intro of all Fsa's .Since it was the first time that Sai Kiran has meeting New Fsa's.

Later we have discussion on  contributions from MCW CLUBS(BIES,JITS,KITS,KU)  on  Webmaker Events, Evangelism, Firefox Club Inaugurations and Firefox OS Apps Development.Army Of Awesome(AOA)

No follow up,   less number of meet ups, inactive in womoz, Facing Problems with Management in the clubs,  No recognition in Mozilla India Community, No team coordination, ethics of mailing lists, communication gap, Event publicity
